Quote:God told Adam and Eve not to eat the apple that contained the knowledge of good and evil, correct?
Then how would Adam and Eve know to follow the word of god if they did not yet have knowledge of good and evil? They did not know what they did was wrong, so how could god possibly expect them to follow his words?
The way I see it, knowledge does lead to certain belief, but the opposite isnt always true. When I was young for example, my mom would tell me not to do something, and lets assume I was obedient and listened. I didnt have the required knowledge to know why it was wrong and why I should not do that "something", yet, I have faith in the words of an elder. You dont tend to need knowledge to follow orders assume that it is absolute.
