But that's the thing... you don't have to be level 200. Nobody has EVER had to be 200. This game was paced originally around gamers who were casual players playing about 2 ~ 4 hours maybe a day. Problem is Fangblade made 200 before anyone else did and everyone got butthurt about it. Then a few more people did and then everyone was like... "I have to be 200 too!!! If I'm not 200 it's not fair!!!" Level 200 was for people who stayed with the game a long time, dedicated some time into it, and pushed as hard as they could.
There were so many options people had and then complained about were too good or just not good enough.
We had 8x EXP which was a great tool if you had the means to get 8x EXP which was rep, time, and Nx. People then complained because it was too much EXP or because they didn't have Rep or Nx to get all the possible EXP. Then they complain to Nexon that 8x EXP was a glitch. 3 separate EXP multiplier systems and people complain about it, and then it was gone.
Nexon was probably going to give us Neo-Tokyo originally at some point but again this probably got halted by someone saying... "Neo-Tokyo's too hard!!! I wanna play Neo-Tokyo with lower level characters!!!" In turn guess what we got in it's place? Neo-City. We gave up the possibility of monsters yielding 10,000 EXP on average for monsters yielding roughly about a tenth of that. Gone forever was a place where people level 140 and up could grind effectively.
The higher levels were supposed to be something worked hard for, achieved, and invested for. What they weren't was stuff that people could go to in a weekend and conquer, and move on as if nothing happened.
