Actually a real contingency plan would not be taking screenshots and documenting your mains. That's borderline panic and an open invitation for people knowing what you have.
The best idea, create a secondary account, get it to level 30 and 2nd Job, and use it the first few days and see if the game is going haywire and actually resetting AP/SP etc. Then if anything does happen to it, don't touch your main until you know for a fact everything will be okay.
