Preparing a disaster kit and time capsule

Also Log in only on noob characters first (mainly for the ring event) until dust settles and others have discoverd if there are serious problems.

Also going to remind ppl that someone in the Tespia thread said that their potential items got wiped when they equiped the event ring. Maybe I misread or maybe poster was mistaken, but I'm going to test equiping ring on a noob with some garbage potential item first.

It wasn't when I equipped the ring, it was that it was gone to start with.

My helm, overall, earrings, gloves and shoes [iirc on the shoes, I nuked them a month ago] were potentialed on the live server, but not here. I never noticed till I had the ring on and wanted to check stats.
Edit, looked through more of my ss's: I did get a few drops that were potential while I was walking around so it still exist[s], I think they just didn't copy it when they copied characters the first time. I never bothered to pay attention during the Visitor's Tespia if this was the same. >_>;
