Omnipresent, omniscient, omni-etc. Is he benevolent, non caring. Basically you'd have to answer Epicurus quote.
One thing that should be asked is as i said in a previous post "Why put the tree there in the first place?"... if he knew they were going to eat from it and he ALWAYS knew they would eat from it, "why put it there?", or for that matter if he knows everything, why not prevent the "devil/talking snake" from tricking Eve in the first place.
Actually when you give properties to God, like he's all knowing, there's a lot of "plot holes" that come up.
And can we keep this on topic please. I hate censorship as the next guy and the fact we already have to tip toe around/within religious based threads is annoying.
What I mentioned was that it doesn't matter what we choose to believe in. There is no "free will" because in the end God knows what we're going to choose no matter what right? Free will would just be an illusion. Even if we switched our preference from atheist to Catholic to baptist a hundred times, it wouldn't matter because God knew we were going to do it anyways. Why not just sort the crap out now as soon as someone is born.
God - "Ok I already know you're not going to choose to believe in me so I'll just go ahead and send you to Hell"
That kind of mentality is the way I was thinking.
