The way I see it any gnostic belief is a dangerous one, there is no way to be sure of an existence in a deity or lack thereof. As well an afterlife is unsure, whether it be a relocation of the soul to dwell with others, the reincarnation of the soul in another body (human or otherwise), or just a dreamless eternal rest.
