Not really.... Blizzard has completely redesigned the new starting areas/leveling zones to make it extremely easy to get started. Not to mentioned they're selling the previous 2 expansions + vanilla WoW package for only 20 bucks. Cata is 40 bucks so getting into WoW costs as much as any other game (around $60).
I've tried out 2 of the new starting zones myself and they are AMAZING. Questing is probably one of the most fun things to do in the game at the moment (at least until the raids are up and ready to go).
Kind of off-topic though but whatever. One of my RL friends has gotten back into maple and leveled up a lvl 80 some new class called a blader or something (don't keep track of the new stuff). So I might log back onto my bishop and try out some of the new things.
