Some people might argue that Google makes people stupid. I prefer to think that Google is a means to prevents intelligence, via granting easy access to solutions to problems. It can also be used to gain knowledge in a snap though. (Does Bing make people even more stupid? It boasts itself to be a "decision engine" as well.)
... this is one of the few times I would seriously consider saying "Fail!" and mean it.
On a similar note, I love Kingdom of Loathing's Altar of Literacy test, which is required to access the IRC channel.
