Really Cancambo, like everyone suggested. When someone asks you to go somewhere, no matter where, just say yes. This will help on controling yourself about video games or something.
The computer will always be there when you get back. It sits there, waiting patiently, with all the time in the world. Surely it knows you'll come back some time, and when you do, it'll enjoy every moment it serves you. Yes, it has all the time in the world. Waiting. And you will be back.
Psychology is in general agreement that social interaction between humans is a healthy behavior. I find that I can get the best of both worlds by going over to your friends' places and do LAN parties or something to that effect. And even though you didn't mention this, I have looked back in my own past, and realized that the great wealth of computer knowledge that I have now comes from curiosity when a game glitches or someone h4x0rz it. Or something else goes wrong. Actually, I enjoy finding those bugs and abusing them for a short while, because usually you see something hilarious like "limbo Mario" from Super Mario 64.
