This is such a good story, can't believe I've never heard of it before. I thought the shift in tone in Step 4 was really well done, though. It was foreshadowed by the no-cat/bunny love signs displayed prominently in each of the previous steps. On that subject, I really love the sparse use of color and the simple, clean design. Apart from the blush on Nabi's cheeks, her ribbon, and the green scarf, the sign is almost the only other thing displayed in a bright color.
The music is awesome, too. I don't understand Japanese, but it works wonderfully with the videos. I can't wait for the next one, too
