c) WHY IS ROMEO + JULIET ON THAT LIST.
I watched it a couple of nights ago on netflix with my girlfriend. I had seen it in part before - we both knew what we were getting into. We were watching it more to make fun of it than to enjoy it, I would say. But seriously. Taking the story and modernizing it? Fine. Keeping every last line true to the original Shakespearean text when the setting is modern? Not fine. If anyone out there doesn't feel the same way, I would be interested in hearing their side of the story, because I myself can't see any merit in that whatsoever. It just makes it completely absurd in my eyes.

Two examples off the top of my head - Arsenic and Old Lace (1944) and The Third Man (1949) (neither of which, sadly, are on that list). A movie's age doesn't necessarily say anything about its quality.
