This might be going a bit off topic for you, but I thought I'd address it here anyway:
First of all, after BB a multiplier on MA and a multiplier on damage are very similar because both are a multiplier on INT and LUK. However, a multiplier on MATK and a multiplier on damage are not the same thing and, as such, they cannot be added together. A multiplier on MA is slightly worse than a multiplier on damage overall because flooring MATK hurts more than flooring damage.
For example:
If you have 293 MATK, 100 INT, and 100 LUK
15% bonus to Magic Attack:
MATK = 293 * 1.15 = 336.95 = 336
Max Damage = (4 * 100 + 100) * 336 / 100 = 1680
15% bonus to damage:
MaxDamage = (4 * 100 + 100) * 293 / 100 * 1.15 = 1684
So you can't add overall +% damage (Amp) and +% MATK (Magic Mastery) because they aren't the same calculation.
---------------------------------------------
Anyway, it's disputed whether Magic Mastery gives +20% MATK or +20 MATK.
