I think the river was meant to be crossed to get to vineland, and that something has happened to change their minds
and are not going to release vineland at all now. That's the only reason I can think for that whole plot of land to the right
of the river just vanishing on the map update.
The whole NLC potion thing makes me think of when they first adjusted the prices on them and they got super high in cost, then
each patch notes they would "say" they fixed it but never did for like 4-5 patches.
