[Notice] Big Foot Glitch Abuse

In the nexon forums, many people have posted about it, and it was even mentioned in the Q&A before the patch even finished. If I were them, I would've taken down the game immediately ASAP for an emergency patch, just to make it into a boss. It's a lot easier than having an angry mob of maplers after you and tracking down abusers.

I disagree. It would not be easier.

Nexon has had TOO MANY emergency patches in the last couple of months. They are trying to avoid this wherever possible - it only leads to trouble, frustrated users, frustrated Nexon... etc.

If possible, they will try to hold out on a patch for at least 2 weeks, and include it with the next content. You're right - all they have to do is check a box or uncheck a box. But releasing a full patch just for that is quite silly. Even though they've done it before, I'm sure they would not like to do it again.
