Thread of True Honesty

I know a couple friends that knows Japanese. I know why they wanted to learn though, it was so they could play Japanese video games that were not released in the US. I do know a couple people irl that are obsessed with anime a bit too much though, it's almost unhealthy. Oh well, their life. Not my problem. -shrugs- I watch anime a lot, myself, but I'm too lazy to learn Japanese.

I think it's just a phase... eventually the desire to learn Japanese will be gone. Japanese is a terribly difficult language. I can barely understand any Japanese, and even with some knowledge in the characters it can be hard to make out the meaning of the entire sentence.
