I guess I am kinda in agreement with Swerve. I look forward to death, though I can't seem to be able to take my own life. Death is inevitable, so why should I fret over it, anyways? It isn't like I lie to myself and tell myself there is a "better place" to come. I don't really have anything spectacular to look forward to either way - alive or dead. Why should it matter whether I am alive or dead?
Also, I guess I am a bit weird when it comes to the death of others. Obviously, when someone close dies people are deeply saddened at what happened. However, in my experience it barely affected me at all. A few years back, my brother committed suicide and I have yet to really even feel true sadness over it. Yes, he was my brother. Yes, I enjoyed his company. Does being sad that he died help anything? No. Recently my grandfather died of lung cancer. I still haven't really felt anything over that.
Eh, I don't know.
