"No visible wings" is ambivalent; it means that one can't see any wings. It doesn't rule out the possibility of there being small wings, but it doesn't necessitate it either.

And in any case, the wings in that picture are visible.

Of course, the Doduo is pushing them aside because of the sheer necessity of taking a crap.
