Wrong. There is no such thing as a "garbage" character. They are all special in their own way. The creator of the series would rather you didn't bash his game in such a way.

You can say that they're all "special in their own way", but a retard by any other name is just as stupid. Likewise, when characters are different, some are bound to be generally better than others. A poorly balanced game is one where the tiers are widely spread and the bad characters get laughed at instead of taken seriously. Brawl is even more guilty of this than Melee.
