That picture of the reverse staff confirmed my previous theory. ._. If there is going to be anything that will put a stake in the luckless mage dominance in this game, this system will probably do it. After according for luck used, that staff is +133 m.att. Finally enough to warrant the use of that 123 luck for the staff alone. Factor in what happens if you account for the possibility of overalls, gloves, shoes, etc, and luckless are pretty much destroyed.

Then factor in the fact that if the 90%, 80%, 70% chances of success remain, then there's a 1 in 275 chance of producing that Aeas Hand. I mean yeah, it'd be nice to have one, but first you have to get 275*45 PoTs, and 275*7 60% staff matk scrolls. And what are the chances that these 90% scrolls will be cheaper than chaos scrolls? Not very high, I'd say, unless they're way more common.


It seems like this system makes expensive scrolled weapons pointless - when you can get +40-50 w.atk (or even +4% damage) it would be better to try these on a bunch of cheap weapons, than to waste huge amounts of money breaking good ones. Of course the best of the best will be both, but most people can't afford to break their perfect white scrolled weapon >_>




And are the skill+ not a part of Reverse weapons already? My Reverse Grabbe adds +1 Stance, and I'm pretty sure the 2h sword adds +1 Blast +1 Brandish.
