Didn't know where to put this, but it's a serious question.
Anyone know of relatively cheap methods of printing out custom images at large sizes and mounting them into a frame? Any bit of advice would help. Perhaps you know of a cheap place to get frames, or you know of a fairly cheap printing method aside from going to a Kinkos or something.
I was going to get this made last week.

And it would come out to be about $90 for a 16 x 18 inch portrait to be printed out and mounted onto a frame that resembles the one in the first image. I'm looking to see if there are less expensive ways of doing this before I have it made. I went t a local print shop (Kinkos and Staples prints, they both have similar pricing) and then there's an art store around here that makes frames. One of the frames look a lot like the image above, but it doesn't have to be an exact match or anything. The frame itself is about $50 without tax.
I know for a fact I can find cheaper frames than that. It was just painted wood, and that's perfectly fine, so long as it resembles the frame I want somewhat. Somewhere I got a link for an ebay auction, but I believe it was UK and don't know if they shipped internationally.

This dude made them pretty cheaply, I don't think he ever gave any real explanation other than "I had them printed, my sister had frames laying around that were perfect, and I just put them on cardboard and framed them up."
Still don't really know their sizes, or where he got them printed.
If anyone wants the high-res portraits, I can give you them. The images are too big to host anywhere.
