I'm not hearing any music playing froma burned CD

This is not on my computer; it plays fine on my computer, but I'm having trouble on playing it on a CD player/radio. I tried both .wma and .mp3 formats; neither work. As a side-note, the CD which I ripped the music from was also a burned CD. Any ideas?

tl;dr
Burned audio CD won't play on a non-computer audio player.
You're burning MP3/WMA files to a CD? Or you're burning an audio CD? (Difference here is that an audio CD conforms to the Red Book/CD-DA standard.)

[My guess is that you've burned MP3/WMA files to a CD and then put it into a CD player without the ability to play MP3/WMA files. MP3, WMA, Vorbis, etc. compatibility is usually listed as a feature when supported by a CD player.]
