The entire meeting wasn't for sixteen hours I'm sure. There also needed to be a means to rid the game of all of the duped scrolls, find exactly what the exploit is, fix the exploit (which takes coding and time - neither of which are cheap), the means of creating a server check, the means of knowing exactly what to do during that server check so the game didn't crash afterwards, testing the exploit fix to make sure it works and doesn't have unintended consequences, recompiling the entire server, and suddenly having to figure out who on the staff is going to stay afterward to do this fix to the game. The devil is in the details.
