Original General Dungeon Fighter Thread

For some reason I always go out, research, and make PvE builds. Soul Bender build for 60. What are the merits of maxing out Ghost Slash Drive? I chose to max Ghost Slash because it works well with Fear of Darkness, but I don't know about Ghost Slash Drive in PvE. I've really only seen it used PvP, close to none in PvE. Instead of maxing Ghost Slash Drive, I could either a) get WWS to 5+Cancel, b) max out Lunar Curtain, c) get Ghost Step to 9. I'm leaning towards b) if Ghost Slash Drive isn't suggested to be maxed, since reducing Darkness resistance of enemies, in addition to Ghost Slash + Fear of Darkness or Tombstone + Fear of Darkness is very nice. I don't think c) is a very good option since move speed isn't really needed in PvE, and it's easy enough to whip out Phantasmal Slayer in the invincible state since there's the sound effect that tells you it's turning on anyways. Don't plan on raising Phantasmal Slayer either since points could really best be placed somewhere else.

GSD is usually maxed for the proc. I use it a LOT in pve, but it isn't always safe to charge it. Lunar curtain is viable, but I don't recommend it - it's difficult to apply it to a large mob without putting yourself in a very rough spot, and since it only lasts 10 seconds you'd be recasting it CONSTANTLY. Ghost Step maxed is more of a pvp build decision. WWS(5) + Cancel is too. I'd say GSD is best for a pve build.
