The thing here is everyone's individual context of "dying" and what it means for something as abstract as Maple Story to "die". But it comes down to this: either dying can either be Nexon losing profit from running this game that they must shut it down or Maple Story has loss so much playability that the game is no longer worth playing. And I believe the latter is what the OP was going after. In which case, yes, I do believe the game is "dying" and has been dying for the past few years.
