Yeah, when you start college or university, it's normally best to quit. I'm an average-student, and I play once in a while if I have spare time, but it no longer feels as an obligation as it was 2 years back when all I did was grind grind grind grind. Not to target certain people on SP, but some on Scania that I know probably 'did' spent a lot of money on NX just to grind 4-8 hours a day on double EXP every week. Can you even imagine how much money is being spent monthly doing that? That's just an example, but it's extremely time-consuming. That's how MMOs are. Play it if you have nothing better to do, it shouldn't be half or your life, or even 1/4 of it. But if you wish for it to be a huge part of your life, if you think it'll make you any better, so be it.
@Cynic: Depends. 1-2 years back, I was still ..around 12x-13x, and though my level was low for the guild's standards to Zakum (this was before I joined Faithful), they'd still want me because I was strong. That was it. If I didn't want to go, they'll try to find someone else. If they can't, they'll hop on their friend's Night Lord IF they have access to it. If not, they just whine about the fact that I didn't come. -shrug-
