The competitive SSBM discussion thread

Wow 4 years, that is quite a bit of experience. :p I guess I'll play the game more often & try new characters.

4 years playing, yeah. However, I started out like everyone else, a newbie/newcomer. Only around my 2nd or 3rd year did I started playing competitively. My SSBM characters timeline (all mains)

Young Link -> Fox (semi-competitive play) -> Jigs (competitive play).

Reason is, I started out playing normally. When I played Fox, I started learning a bit, and knew of competitive play, and eventually, I got into it a bit. When I switched to Jigs, was when it became serious sh't. Try out more than 1 character, you'd be surprised who you may be good at.. I tried out Jigs as a joke, and found out my DI'ing, teching, and etc was significantly better than if I were to play Fox. I play Falco and Falcon for luls too, and use them to beat noobs, but other than that, they're sorta like my LOLsecondaries.
