One major problem I have is the shear scale that these claims are based within. The timelines alone are hundreds and hundreds of years. You know how much happens in that time? Civilization was basically advanced to what it is in that amount of time. There is almost no sure fire way to prove that there is any effect. Sure, the coal age in the industrial revolution really put a toll on things, which some of can still be seen today.
Another problem is that all these "facts" people keep coming out with are being disproven left and right. Theres the major global climate change report that came out of the UK that was found to have falsified numbers found in internal emails that were basically stolen. Al Gores movie was a single perspective shot, as it showed the polar bears on melting pieces of ice. The problem is that its natural for the ice to melt and then re-accumulate, a fact that Al Gore failed to reveal.
Of course im pulling from a single side as well, but i try to look at things on both sides, but the side for global warming makes little sense to me based on what I have learned and witnessed. Last winter, there was actually snow where I live, and I live in Malibu, MALIBU!!! CA. Im literally a short drive away from the ocean, and a temperate zone thats classified as a desert. If anyhing, I fall in with climate fluctuation rather than global warming, or even global climate change (which I consider something more like global climate shifts).
