Any recent hacked accounts from Southperry users?
Haven't read the entire thread nor I'm going to, and I haven't been hacked, nor my wife (she's level 200) has.

Though, I've noticed how Nexon keeps denying and denying.. and by reading -Hime-'s posts you can notice how convinced she is of what she's saying.

I'll quote another one.

Quote:What I truly thing is unfair is being blamed for something that is not on our end. We do not blame the players for having their account hacked. Nobody wants their account hacked and we don't want that either. The last thing we would want is for our players to not be able to play.

You assume we are not doing anything and we're sorry we can't tell you every little detail of how we're investigating this "situation". We want to help you but you really need to submit a ticket about it. We'll do our best from there.

Lastly, this will be the last time I mentioned this. The circular arguments and discussions on this topic has caused nothing but panic and inflammatory behavior among the community. Yes, we're looking into it. Yes, we're investigating it. Yes, we want to help our players. There is no conclusive evidence pointing to any security hole in our network. Yet you continue choose to the word of rumors and players who sole intentions are to hurt you and us. I'm sorry that this may not be what you want to hear but unless there is something new that comes up in our investigation, I will be saying the same thing over and over until then.

It doesn't look like they're lying AT ALL. To me, it's actually not on their end. There must be SOMETHING which the hacked people did which made them get hacked. And I'm not talking about keyloggers. I'm talking about giving out e-mails which are linked to the account, or personal information such as birthday. THAT can be the way the hackers have hacked so many people. They probably found a way to get the rest of the account information through that. Even if.. well, that would probably require access to their database, falling under the "their fault" category. But hey, what if hackers found a way to access the database.. without fully accessing it? There got to be a way they're using which Nexon can't notice.. maybe a way to retrieve the information from the database without leaving traces.. I don't really know.

Oh, if only we knew HOW they're doing it.. hopefully I won't get hacked. I really hope that.

I'm sorry for anyone who got hacked.. hopefully you'll get your stuff back guys, even if I doubt it, sadly. The only way for Nexon would be doing a rollback, which I doubt they're going to perform. They never give back items like that.
