Are you kidding? That's the exact opposite of what's true! Even if you draw your route perfectly to your destination (which is more annoying in itself since there may be enemy trains to plan for, and the teleporters are spread about and rarely take you to the quarter of the map you'd like), you don't "arrive" at your destination automatically like in Hourglass. You'll drive right past it unless you stop on it. And the Train is much slower. Ugh.

You could immediately, from wherever you were, warp to whichever of the four maps you wanted in Hourglass. Then you draw to your destination, and more often than not your boat's HP was more than enough to take any hits you'd sustain on the way, so you could just put it down once you draw the way. In addition, there aren't a f'uckton of gratuitous fetch quests that force you to use your respective method of transportation in Hourglass.
