I quit Mabi after beta closed for this very reason. If you honestly think that NEXON would release something that would destroy a profit making system for FREE, you must have a few screws loose. More targeted at NEXON than you, so try not to take it personally.
Instant rebirth in Mabinogi costs NX, however, you can also rebirth for free if you're character is as least of age 18 and is a few weeks old in real time.
