Old: 0.2 exp for doing the most damage, 0.8 split between levels
Last patch: 0.2 exp split based on damage, 0.8 split between levels
Now: 0.6 exp split based on damage, 0.4 split between levels
What does that mean?
Well, let's take a level 100 Priest+DK at Himes.
If the DK does the most damage, say about a 60-40 split,
Old: DK gets 60%, Priest gets 40%.
Last patch: DK gets 52%, Priest gets 48%.
Now: DK gets 56%, Priest gets 44%.
Say the damage is more biased to the DK, because the Priest is actually not dealing much damage. eg. 80-20.
Old: DK gets 60%, Priest gets 40%.
Last patch: DK gets 56%, Priest gets 44%.
Now: DK gets 68%, Priest gets 32%.
Or the DK, for some reason, is killing everything and the Priest just HSs sometimes.
Old: DK gets 60%, Priest gets 40%.
Last patch: DK gets 60%, Priest gets 40%.
Now: DK gets 80%, Priest gets 20%.
So what does this mean? Priests have to actually do something to earn their bit of exp. The "balance point", where Priests are earning exactly as much exp as before the formula was changed is if the DK does twice as much damage as the Priest. Is that really so difficult to even do half as much damage as an equal level attacker?
180 bishop and 180 x(x= any job but not bishop).
One killing top half one killing bottom half.
I'd love to see that.
