No one who is "super serious" about bossing is going to be willing to substitute that much of an increase in their damage range to take a hit (I'm referring to PB and any other boss that takes massive amounts of washing or bleeding to survive).Blood builds are looked down upon because HP-wash is available. (1)Win-win situation with a lot of a money cost > (2)not being able to afford (1) and go QQing > (3)sacrificing and balancing your character with innate means.
The point is, there are means in-game to overcome difficulties posed in-game, you don't have to rely on an outside effect such as AP resets (not sure if kMS has these, maybe yes since they have SP resets) and exploitation of the system (sacrifice MP for HP, oh really, is it really a sacrifice?)
I'm not saying it's wrong, but it's obviously the optimal choice for many people, too many people that it's perverted into a sad thing to see.
It's also apparent that "super serious" people have to HP-wash, period. But the question is must everyone put that burden on themselves? There is the concept of bossing for fun and challenge, there is the concept of professionally bossing for profits. Why must everyone and their mom think they HAVE TO Hp-wash to boss efficiently? Perhaps I am the elitist here but I believe everyone should be able to know what they want and how they should go about it.
I gave up 50 STR for HP when my Zerk HP was 30%, now it's 50%, way to overkill, but I don't regret it. If one day I can buy NX and be cool like Eos to say "it doesn't in any way affect my daily life", sure I'll wash, but I don't go out of my way to HAVE TO wash, or peach at life for being unable to wash.
