I personally like the boss fight gMS style, even more so if they raise the defense cap so that Rellik's over 9000 def actually poses an even tougher challenge. But free atk capes for everyone is nice, seeing how sucky gMS bonus is. It used to be great when it was a once-a-lifetime deal, if anyone remembers. After they nerfed it, the whole thing was more or less just for MoN reloot/sales and fun.

But no, fighting a boss can never be for item farming and fun
