As I said, I agree that a lower cooldown would be awesome - nay, as you said, would make the skill not so useless.
It was my, as IllegallySane put it, "somewhere to dump remaining 4th job SP to" skill. With 10 points saved for MW30 and everything else maxed, my Infinity has a nice 3x second duration, which is more than enough. When you have 30k MP with HB, HP, again, becomes the survival-determining stat.
