Given the pure fact that new information is still coming out, it isn't feasible to compile a realistic psychological profile on this guy and argue that he was mentally sane. Obviously the Fort Hood incident showed that he wasn't able to achieve his goals on a social level and therefore had to resort to violence in order to either let out his emotions or express how he really felt. But I'm pretty sure this is not an example of political correctness. Unless we're clumping together issues of race-tolerance, racial-profiling, and racism into the term "political correctness" which I'm not sure is quite correct.
