I think it's faster by like 10~ hits per minute? Then at two it's better by like 5 or 15%.
I'd put a point into EB, but skip AS, and Octo. I regretted getting those early when I really didn't need to. At 11 cannon, consider putting points into Battleship if it's breaking all the time. I wish I had that extra 40k back at 13X, but maybe I wasn't doing it right.
I did not think torpedo was as useful as Cannon. It took like 6 hits at level 1. It's already a very slow skill and you're just wasting time when Cannon is a much 4 hits each.
