2 battle ship > 20 Burst Fire?

Yep. I advanced at 121, but that's what I would have done if I advanced at 120.

And I can use the bottom right platform and use torpedo to attack the 2 newties? Is this actually faster than just using maxed burstfire? Also whats the stats/info on lvl 1 Torpedo, like how much monsters it can hit and how much damage it does.

You stand on the very bottom right and if you stand close enough to the rightmost Newtie, you can hit 3 of them. It's definitely stronger than Cannon until Cannon hits level 11. It hits up to 4 monsters.

Also If I go with this build that your proposing, how would I use my points after 120? Would I keep putting points into torpedo? cuz i'd rather get cannon maxed first so i can do some bossing. I might just go 1 battleship 2 cannon still depending on how much stronger lv.2 cannon is compared to maxed burstfire.

Nah, just one point into Torpedo is fine. You put your points into Cannon, but you use Torpedo until Cannon hits 11. After Cannon hits 11, feel free to put fun points in Rapid Fire, Air Strike, and Wrath of the Octopi.

Can someone confirm that Lv.2 cannon > maxed burstfire? and if so by how much? And yes I will be sniping newties/freeze,shooting, so ship endurance isnt really a problem.

As the others said, any level Cannon is better than Burst Fire because of how much faster it is. Burst Fire is 720ms while Cannon is 630ms. Not by very much at all, but by enough. Also it's fun to use a new skill.
