The family teleport is just that; It's to teleport to your family.
If your friends aren't in your family, that's it. They're not a valid target.
If you had all your friends in the same family it wouldn't be a problem.
If Nexon wanted the teleport to be universal it would've been.
If you're family hopping just to teleport around you're not supporting your family, you're using it for your own manipulative purposes.
Personally I think if you leave your family you should lose all points, period - You've turned your back on your family regardless of how you justify it or rationalize it, therefore you should lose everything that having been in that family earned you, not carry it with you into another family.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
