Charles Lutwidge Dodgson or Lewis Carrol, which was his pseudonym. I'm sure he's rolling in his grave over these adaptations of his work, but I absolutely love them. Alice in Wonderland was always my favorite book growing up, and continues to this day to be one of my biggest inspirations and I have a huge Alice fetish, it's really bad.
