No, but any combo after 100 does not affect your damage, and very few skills are activated after 100+ combo.
They are still undeniably unbelievable for bossing, even if they aren't AS good partied. You also need to consider the Aran isn't at Oblivion 4. THAT map is the supreme map for melee training.
