It requires a lot of control of mobs and choice of attacks. Definately harder than the current classes.

Except that you move towards the boss and you will have to HP wash to hug certain bosses, I'd assume. It will take awhile before an Aran can consistently tank bosses like Anego and bigfoot, if I remember correctly of course.

Yes, Arans are strong, but really all you guys see are the incredibly funded Arans and have such buffs as sharp eyes. See, in GMS, you can witness first hand the range of strength for different classes. i.e. you can view the hero with 100 DEX and crappy equips, or you can view the hero with 4 DEX, every attack equip available, and a +9 (GM 10%'d) lunchbox. Obviously, there is going to be a large difference there, and not every Aran will rape as much as the arans you see now.
We have our downsides. One, you knockback further then your moves move you forward. This can cause you to lose control over a mob if you aren't paying attention, and this is a terrible thing for an Aran because it can be hard to recover that control and a possible loss of combo. Also, we are pretty weak without critical and the damage is split between a mob. This means that, for example, our first hit splits 100% up to 12 ways. That's like 8% damage per mob, and the rest of the multipliers after that aren't too impressive. This is the biggest problem 1~80 or 90 depending on when you want to get combo critical. The only way to deal good damage at those levels is by building up 30+ combo and doing a combo smash. Then later, HP starts to be a problem. We have fairly low HP for a melee class without the possible invincibility of a infighter. We are forced to hug things, and even move into them! Those are just a few problems that I can think of off the top of my head, and I still have more to experience in 4th job.
