So right after releasing the PSPgo, Sony decides to up the ante and release the PSP2 in the near future. All those people who got the PSPgo just got steamrolled.
Overall, the news wasn't all that unexpected since there's already talk about a ds2. And with the continuous attack of ever powerful phones, handheld consoles may start to lose their market. The only problem I have is that with the sort of theoretical performance the PSP2 can do, they are basically trying to turn it into the handheld PS3 to keep/attract customers which might raise major questions about the battery life. Personally, I would rather use one of the older generations than use the new PSP even if it has amazing graphics and stuff but has a battery life of 1 hour.
