It's like being scared of the dark when it can't do anything to you. Unless you have a childhood memory of tripping and falling down 35871907 stairs in the dark. Or something like that.
Anyways, everyone at your funeral will miss you and will think "I can't picture what my life would've been like if Brandon was never in it."
And then 2 weeks later will have completely moved on and have their life be completely untouched by my abscence. I'm already more than a thousand miles from any family member or friend, the girl I care so deeply for that I've been unconsciously looking for her in anyone I meet is several hundred miles away, and I'm feeling completely isolated in a city full of people that don't even bother speaking English. I work with people at least 10 years older than me that I can't possibly hope to relate to, that have wifes, husbands, children, GRANDCHILDREN, homes, pets, nieces, nephews, that completely don't understand anything that's imporant in my life. I'm so lonely that I feel insignificant, like an ant crawling around in an parking lot full of termites. I can't relate, but I blend in just enough to go unnoticed.
