Question about weapon stat requirements

I actually remember doing it sometime after Beta, but before these recent patches. There was some circling of equips letting other equips being worn. I did it with a Black Mamba in earlier levels. o_O

you may have done a less extreme version of my example, but not what sekushikun suggests
