@Rayquaza: Alright, here are some equips you'll want as a lukless mage:
-weapon: Use a wooden wand from 8-30. At 30, get a pink tube if it's available, in which case you can keep it until 64. Otherwise, you'll want to get a crappy maple staff at 35 and a mediocre lama or nocturnal staff at 43. At 64, get a maple shine wand or maple wisdom staff, scrolled decently (+6 60% scrolls or so). After that, don't bother with a weapon until you can afford an ewand 2 (poison, gives 10% fire bonus) or an ewand 1 (25% bonus, very expensive).
-hat: Hats can be scrolled for int, though they're pretty expensive. You're probably best off getting some clean 3 int or so hat, then saving up for a zhelm. Chaos scroll a receiver if it's available.
-overall: Most people scroll bathrobes for int, so aim for a decent one of these. Unfortunately, they're all pretty expensive. Just use a clean one for a while or possibly a chaos scrolled invincible suit.
-shoes: Yellow snowshoes are the only tradable shoe you can get with INT on them, but they're very expensive (they also come with 3 dex, 7 slots and are common), so you probably won't be getting one anytime soon. If you have a lot of time, get permanent agent shoes, otherwise, 100% whitebottoms or snowshoes for speed.
-shield: Sadly, expensive dark scrolls are all you can scroll shields with for int, so most of them end up godly and really expensive or all blow'd up. Toss some dark scrolls for defense on a stolen fence for the lulz, I have a 14 defense, 3 slot one right now!
-gloves: Same issues as shield; well-scrolled or poorly scrolled ones are quite rare. Use a white WG just for the awesomeness in it.
-cape: This is about as simple as buying attack WGs for regular classes: simply try to get the highest total stats (INT + magic attack) out of one.
-face:
Yeah. That's pretty much it. Low luk would use similar, luk equips, with overalls, shields, and capes scrolled for luk rather than int.
