I've stayed at Typhons to 94, and it's still amazing EXP. Today i was going to try Newties, but I doubt it will be as good as it is for BMs because Wind Archers have no way to disable them from attacking, which means a lot of damage, and Nest Golems are going to be extremely dangerous.
yeah I just tried sniping newties, it was only 25%/hour on 1x vs. 53%/hour at typhons on 1x. Newties suck, unless someone can explain a better way to do it. I don't know how to without hawk.
Hm...I wonder if Newties would be an ideal training spot now. I just tried taking the map at level 90 with a level 10 Wind Piercing and I didn't do so well especially when those Nest Golems one shot me. I can see it being a viable training spot in a party but you'll be limited to sniping only since the bottom has two Nest Golems that will spawn. I have yet to try harps for a long period of time but I'm sure that they can 2HKO you while Wind Piercing can make quick work of them.
Skeles are just way overpowered and unless someone HP washed their Cygnus (which IMO isn't worth it) to an extent of breaking 3700-3900 HP before 120 then I guess it'll be viable once you have Hurricane. TT isn't even going to be in the discussion as those monsters are just beasts unless you're a BM/Marksman 150+. I wonder if we're gonna be stuck on Typhons until 120?
That'll be such a shame using Arrow Rain from 73 all the way to 120 and making Wind Shot, Wind Piercing, and Hurricane useless.
