Yeah I think so.
As ranged chars are the only type that interest me I was thinking about going back to my Outlaw or Hermit or starting a Bowmaster(yes I have HurricaneEnvy
) but it hit me that I'll miss out(again) on so much content making a char with regular hp that its not even worth my time.
I'm sure others can come up with the hard numbers of the Hp/level you need to be able to survive Pap/Pianus/Zak or even train at places like Newts/Skelys or Time Temple if you go the regular HP route. Sure you can put AP into HP without washing it out but you will be much the weaker for it, especially as you need to sink 150-200+ AP into HP if you want to be able to HT/Been or face a number of other bosses we have yet to get, and dont forget places like Neo Tokyo.
Unless you sink billions of meso on Int gear and hundreds(if not thousands) of Nx into them you will find that in the end, unwashed ranged chars have been a waste of time. This isnt a rant I'm just giving people a heads up.
