Now to the "what's the point" question... the point of any game is to of course have fun. If you feel you're working in a game, you should quit the game. So I would vouch that anyone that's having fun "taking advantage" of the the economy probably has that as their point in playing this game. Speaking from my experience I can tell you that once you reach a certain point in this game, you stop caring about mesos at all and pretty much only play it for the fun of collaboration with friends and joking around in game. So, to that effect, no matter how much this game inflates, some people simply don't care as long as they can continue doing what they do and have their laughs. The point isn't always in product and is sometimes just the process itself. =P
