How do you pronounce: _____?

Speaking of pronounciations... Everyone I know still insists that 'Hime' is pronounced as if it rhymed with 'chime' when it's a damn Japanese word meaning princess and when I tell them how it's really pronounced, they call me retarded and say that I'm the one that's wrong... >_>

I know how it's really prounounced I just prefer saying it the way it rhymes with chime because that's how I've always said it. ;_;
