I was wondering if anyone knows if Cygnus can honestly enter Squad Bosses (at least Zakum). Seeing as how their level cap is 120, I was thinking that Nexon did not make them eligible to enter any squad bossing.

Good question, wish I knew. But uh, I assume they wouldn't for Zakum, Pap, and some of the lower/weaker bosses, or else it'd be dumb. For HT or anything above would make sense though.
I'd make a Cygnus primarily for low-level Zakking, to be honest (even though I have a Night Lord).
